How does the card ejection mechanism in PULARYS wallets work?

That is, why we focus on safety, durability and conscious design

In the world of everyday accessories, there are solutions that are simply meant to look good - and there are those that are meant to work well. In our opinion, design and functionality can - and should - go hand in hand. That is why, when designing the PUL gradual card ejection mechanism, we opted for a well-considered design that will ensure durability and safety for years to come, not just a good first impression.

The lever mechanism - the heart of the PULARYS wallet

In our wallets with aluminium cases, we have used a lever-based card ejection mechanism that allows quick and convenient access to the cards with a flick of the thumb - without the need to open the entire wallet.

What sets our approach apart is the precise level of card pressure we have selected. From the initial stages of the design process, our goal was to create a mechanism that would hold the cards securely - even after many months of intensive use.

Powerful grip? Yes, and on purpose.

Some users may initially notice that the cards are held quite firmly by the mechanism. This is not a flaw - it a conscious design decision. Over time, the mechanism gently 'settles' to fit the user's cards. Within a few weeks of use, everything starts to work more smoothly, but still with maximum security.

We know from experience that many competing solutions work very lightly from day one. However, the problem starts later - the mechanism loosens up and the cards can over time slide out by themselves or even fall out, which is a serious risk in everyday use.

Safety first

Accidentally dropping a card from your wallet is not just a matter of discomfort - it is a real threat that can have serious consequences..

Losing a payment card means having to block it, contact your bank, wait for a new card and often update your payment details on various online services. It's an unnecessary stress, wasted time and a risk of fraud.

After all, one of the main reasons why many people choose RFID-protected wallets is precisely a sense of security. Therefore, we have ensured that this security not only includes protection against electronic data theft, but also against the most basic situation - the physical loss of the card.

After a few weeks, when the card ejection mechanism in your wallet starts to work smoothly, you will realise that it was designed to last. You won't have to worry about the card accidentally sliding out of your pocket or purse, or falling between the seats in your car.
